‘The Gathering’ on Oct. 2 to Raise Funds for Shepherd’s Pantry

Several Glendora Village business owners who are members of The ARDENT Group will be hosting “The Gathering” on Oct. 2 as the first annual fundraising event benefiting Shepherd’s Pantry, a non-profit corporation.

Community enthusiasts will gather at Glendora Gardens to enjoy live entertainment, refreshments,  and prize drawings while socializing and perusing booths and giveaways from all of the ARDENT businesses.

An evening highlight will be when a Shepherd’s Pantry representative will be speaking about the work they do in the community. The event is free but raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event for prizes each valued at $100.

Food donations for Shepherd’s Pantry that are brought to the event will be greatly appreciated.

Shepherd’s Pantry provides emergency food, clothing, resource assistance and educational programs to families in need during times of crisis. They also provide the necessary tools and resources to help families become self-sufficient.

Shepherd's Pantry was named 2014 Non-Profit of the Year: San Gabriel Valley by
